First batch of the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Businesses graduates
A joint programme conducted by U21Global and IIM Bangalore
Bangalore, June 21, 2008 - U21Global, the world's premier online Graduate School and the NSRCEL at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) today announced the first cohort of graduates of the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs & Family Businesses (MPEFB). A special ceremony was held in Bangalore to commemorate the graduating students. The candidates were awarded a certificate jointly issued by U21Global and NSRCEL, IIMB.
The programme which commenced in December 2006, jointly offered by NSRCEL - IIMB and U21Global is designed to fulfil the requirements of new generation entrepreneurs and those running family businesses in managing their organisations. This course has provided a unique methodology to equip students with critical business management inputs.

This joint postgraduate certificate programme, collaboratively designed by U21Global and the N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore is delivered in a blended format comprising both online sections and face-to-face classes. The various subjects that have been offered as part of the curriculum are Managerial Accounting, Entrepreneurship & New Venture Creation, Data Analysis and Decision Making, Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour & HR Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management and a project course on writing a Business Plan.
