Dr Habibullah KHAN

Dr Habibullah Khan teaches Economics and Finance at U21Global, where his teaching and research focus is on Managerial Economics and Global and Regional Economic Development. Also the Associate Dean of Academic Programmes, he is responsible for all assessment-related matters, including the moderation and publication of students' grades. Dr Khan oversees the development of new subjects and works closely with authors, academic reviewers and U21pedagogica (the review and accreditation agency for U21Global). Prior to joining U21Global, Dr Khan was Associate Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore from 1997 to 2004. His research areas include development economics, the economies of ASEAN and NIEs, and tourism. He has consulted widely with international organisations, including the World Bank and the ASEAN Secretariat.
Dr Khan holds a PhD (Economics) from University of New South Wales, Australia (1980), MA (Economics) from Dhaka University, Bangladesh (1970) and BA (Economics Honours) from Dhaka University, Bangladesh (1969).
